Flights and Transfer

The drive from Bodrum Airport takes approximately fifty minutes.  Flights from the UK take about 3½ hours. Don’t forget £10 in sterling per person for a visa which you obtain at the airport. You will also need a full UK passport with 6 months validity.  There are taxi’s available at the airport and they cost approximately £30, this can be paid in sterling.

 Charter flights to Bodrum are available from April until October and range from about £120 to £350 return. Another option is to add a few days in Istanbul to your holiday with Easyjet. Internal flights to Bodrum are available with several low-cost airlines or with Turkish Airlines. We can assist with advice about flights or hotels for all the above options.

 There is a regular and reliable ‘Dolmus’ service from Gumusluk to Bodrum. The trip to Bodrum takes between 30 to 45 minutes by Dolmus and costs below a £1. Dolmus run about every 20 minutes; the last in high season leaves Bodrum at six in the morning and starts again at eight o’clock, in low season this changes to around midnight.  There is also a similar service to Turgutreis.  Taxis are available and trip to Bodrum costs about £15.
